What Patient Wanted: Carol had noticeable recession, decay, gingivitis and discoloration, and an uneven gum line. She felt her front teeth were too big and long. Prior crowns and bridge were completely worn through due to clinching and grinding of her teeth. Carol has headaches and muscle fatigue due to TMJ disorder.
What We Did: Carol has a wide smile, showing most of her teeth. We did 24 Porcelain Crowns, a bridge and orthotic to re-establish her bite, treating TMJ symptoms and preventing future grinding and headaches.
End Result: A beautiful, full smile gave Carol even teeth and gums that are easier to maintain and keep healthy. By treating the source of the TMJ, we gave her a long-lasting smile that will not be worn down with time.
